RSNV beam combiner mirror is engineered for multi-wavelength laser systems requiring precise beam alignment and combining. It delivers >99.8% reflectance at both 532nm and 1064nm, ensuring high efficiency for the working laser. The >85% reflectance at 650nm provides a strong visible pilot beam for easy optical alignment, while the <0.2% ghost loss at 650nm on the second surface minimizes unwanted back-reflections. Optimized for a 45° angle of incidence (AOI), this component is ideal for coaxial injection of working and pilot beams in laser marking, medical, and industrial processing systems.

RSNV In a typical configuration, the working laser (532nm / 1064nm) enters at 90° and is reflected by the beam combiner mirror with >99.8% efficiency. Simultaneously, the 650nm red pilot beam is injected at 45° and partially reflected (>85%) into the same optical path. The result is a coaxial output where both beams travel along the same axis, enabling precise visual alignment without compromising the main laser’s power. This design also features ghost suppression to eliminate stray reflections that could interfere with system performance or damage sensitive upstream optics.

RSNV Manufactured from K9 glass or fused silica, this beam combiner is available in standard diameters of Φ20 mm and Φ25 mm, with custom sizes supported upon request. The component is designed for a 45° working AOI. Optical performance on Surface 1 includes >99.8% reflection at 532nm and 1064nm, and >85% reflection at 650nm. Surface 2 features an anti-reflection coating with <0.2% reflection at 650nm to suppress ghost reflections. The edge finish is ground frosted to reduce edge glare and handling damage. Full OEM / OBM customization is available for volume and specialty orders.

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your beam combiner mirror, observe the following guidelines:


1. Install at Exactly 45° – Any angular deviation from the specified 45° AOI will significantly reduce reflectance efficiency and compromise alignment accuracy.
2. Use Optical-Grade Cleaning Only – Clean the optical surfaces using lint-free wipes and isopropyl alcohol (IPA). Never use paper tissues, tap water, or household cleaners, which can leave residues or scratch the coating.
3. Match Laser Power to LIDT Rating – Select the appropriate substrate material (K9 for moderate power, fused silica for high power) based on your system’s power density to prevent coating damage and ensure reliable long-term operation.
