This output coupler features a unique dual-wavelength coating: 85% transmission at 1064nm for optimal laser output, combined with 15% reflection at 650nm (visible red). This allows for easy visual alignment of the laser cavity using a visible pilot beam without compromising the performance at the lasing wavelength.

The rear surface is coated with an AR coating achieving <0.2% reflection at 1064nm, minimizing Fresnel reflection losses and maximizing transmission efficiency. This ensures that the extracted laser beam maintains its full power and quality.

Manufactured from K9 optical glass (cost-effective) or fused silica (high thermal stability), providing excellent thermal properties for demanding laser applications. Fused silica is specifically recommended for high-power CW lasers or environments with significant temperature fluctuations.
