BRI-N3 thermal car camera system is mainly used in advanced assisted driving of
auto-mobiles. It can obtain clear images during driving at night or in low light, and provide
more comprehensive and accurate information on potential hazards to help the driver obtains
a higher foresight ability.


  • FOV

FOV(field of view) is the range of the observable world visible at any given time through the human eye, a camera viewfinder or on a display screen. The FOV of the system is 37.0°x 28.0°(PAL), 35°x24°(NTSC), which enables you to have a broad perspective and thus you can see more information about the surroundings.

The sensor type of the thermal camera for vehicles is uncooled Vox 384*288px. Thus such high resolution allows you to obtain quite clear imaging effect. 
As the device is IP67 rated, it can withstand a short immersion in water up to 1m and offers complete protection from dust particles .

  • Safe Detection Range
As the visible range of the car's high beam is limited, when driving at night, especially in complete darkness, dense fog, or other bad weather, drivers are very likely to cause safety accidents because of limited vision. Under normal weather conditions, the longer detection distance can reach more than 300m for vehicles and more than 150m for people. This means that drivers have more reaction time, which can reduce many unnecessary accidents at night.

The assistance system has auto shutter control function and auto heater function. When the window temperature is higher than 7℃±2℃, the system will automatically compensate the temperature. Meanwhile, when the window temperature is lower than 2℃±2℃, it will automatically start the intelligent heating.

The thermal camera for vehicles adopt far infrared rays which has strong penetrating power. This penetrating power enable the camera to work well in complete darkness, thick smoke, dense fog, bright light or other bad weather, helping drivers to get more accurate information on potential hazards. It means drivers have more preparation for unexpected obstacles and think ahead of time for reasonable corresponding measures, regardless of the vehicle you're driving , the road you're on or weather conditions you're in.

The operation temperature is from -40℃ to +85℃. Therefore, whether you are in a cold place or a hot area, you don’t need to worry about the performance of this device.
