As military activity around the world escalates in the war on terror, improved night vision solutions are being sought to assist troops. In order to work reliably under combat conditions, all equipment must be rugged and durable. Additionally, eliminating any unnecessary moving parts reduces unreliability and long-term fatigue. Not only does removing the shutter reduce these negative effects, but the entire system is also lighter and the power required by the equipment is reduced - an important factor in the increasing use of smart drones, where size, weight and power consumption are critical. Another issue is the actual noise associated with opening and closing the shutter, an issue that can "make or break" a secret or undercover mission.


To meet these requirements, BRI introduced the first silicon-based FPA thermal imaging module, featuring its proprietary shutterless technology, an ultra-compact infrared component designed without a shutter or any moving parts, unaffected by shock or vibration.


Our BRI-C6 thermal module based on modern 17μm, 640*480px resolution uncooled Asi FPA detector, it provides clear and detailed thermal images with a thermal sensitivity below 30 mK (NETD).


The BRI-C6 shutterless thermal imaging module does not require shutter calibration when working, solving the problems of freezing or noise encountered by observers. To meet the personalized needs of integrators, and it provides a variety of video interfaces and lenses for easy integration, such a powerful infrared thermal imaging core truly provides a first-class observation experience under limited space and load conditions.


Furthermore, BRI-C6 is equipped with an uncooled thermal core sensor. This sensor operates efficiently and stably without the need for additional cooling equipment. It utilizes LWIR (Long-Wave Infrared) micro-infrared thermal imaging technology, enabling it to capture the thermal radiation of targets in complete darkness, providing vital support for nighttime observation missions.
